Born and raised in the northern town of Williams Lake, British Columbia, Vic draws on his background as a competitive athlete and personal experiences with injury rehabilitation. Along with being a national level competitive swimmer for over 15 years, Vic has trained and competed in Wrestling, Olympic Weightlifting, Track and Field, Basketball, and Football.
Vic completed his Masters of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia in 2013 after obtaining his Bachelors of Science with a major in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University. He is certified with Acupuncture Canada and has also completed courses in Soft Tissue Release Techniques and Manual Therapy. Vic is currently continuing his education through The Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy.
Vic believes in using an individualized hands-on approach and utilizes his diverse background in sports training and education in Kinesiology to provide the correct exercise programs and education to help optimize the recovery process and prevent future injuries.
In his spare time, you can always find Vic working out at the local gym, swimming pool, or track. He is a firm believer in practicing what you preach and tries his best to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Vic is also actively involved within the community and regularly speaks at events, schools, and with teams to provide education regarding injury prevention and optimal rehabilitation strategies.
Vic also speaks fluent Punjabi which enables him to fully understand and communicate with his patients
Jennifer is a self-motivated and confident individual holding a Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy from Rajiv Gandhi University, Bangalore, India. She carries a vast experience treating cases of muscular skeletal, cardio respiratory and neuro rehabilitation. She is able to communicate with her patients in both Hindi and English to provide the best care and best results possible.
Jennifer also holds a certification in Yoga from India and is a member of CPTBC. Her friendly nature helps her work with patients of all different age groups.
In her spare time Jennifer enjoys travelling, trekking and badminton.
Megha is a firm believer in providing an individualized approach to treatment, as each client and their conditions are unique. Megha believes that when the client is offered the appropriate hands-on therapy, exercises, and education, patients are best able to manage their condition and achieve their physical goals. Being fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi helps her to communicate with her clients and understand their concerns in an exceptional way.
Megha graduated from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, India with Bachelors of Physiotherapy in 2010. She holds experience in clinic and community settings in treating Musculoskeletal and Neurological conditions. She has special interest in Active Rehabilitation. She also holds certifications in treating muscle pain syndromes.
In her free time she likes net surfing and reading books.
Arv is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Arv has experience working with individuals, both adult and youth, dealing with cross-cultural issues, family/marital issues, mental health, and substance use.
Arv has over fifteen years of experience working in the mental health field and eight years experience working with adults and youth dealing with individual and family issues, including mental health and substance use disorders. Arv also offers pre-marital education courses for couples planning to wed, move in together, or just want to strengthen their relationship.
Arv spends time creating a safe, comfortable and trusting relationship with her clients. She believes that the therapeutic relationship is very important in helping clients discuss their issues and being supported to reach their counselling goals. She believes that clients are the experts of their life and that in understanding their life experiences Arv can support the client in making practical and attainable changes.
Arv uses various approaches when working with clients as she believes that everyone is a unique individual and that the therapy must fit the client, not the client fit the therapy. Arv works from a client-centred approach and the therapeutic approaches she uses the most are motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioural therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
